Philip became my executive coach in July 2019. Over a period of 8 months we worked together to identify and build on my confidence and strengths as a leader. Executive coaching is one of those things that you don't realize how bad you need until you start getting it. My sessions with Philip were great and really helped me develop, both personally and professionally.
We started by doing a couple personality assessments and a 360 review with my colleagues and family. Those helped me refine my approach with people and taught me to focus more on my strengths rather than trying to improve on weaknesses. Everyone puts family and personal life on top of their priority list but then let work come first on a day to day level. Through my sessions with Philip I was able to better balance my time and energy across my personal ambitions. In doing so things started gelling better at work as well. I embarked on my coaching journey with Philip shortly after he started his MSc at Ashridge. From the very outset Philip helped set some specific goals and objectives to ensure that our coaching would be valuable.
